Required Experience

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, and 6–10 years of relevant experience—ideally in commercial furniture sales or marketing. They should bring strong knowledge of the dealer and customer sales process, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive results. Experience in market research, product positioning, and furniture/seating manufacturing is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and the ability to travel up to 75% is required.

Description

Leading commercial furniture manufacturer seeks a Director of Seating. This individual plays a strategic role in aligning Product Marketing and Sales to drive growth across the seating portfolio. This leader develops and executes positioning strategies, supports product launches, and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver clear, consistent messaging and tools. Responsibilities include market analysis, competitive tracking, sales enablement, and training programs for internal teams and dealer networks. The Director also contributes to product development by identifying gaps, proposing enhancements, and guiding new product briefs with market data and customer insight.
