Description

A leading commercial furniture manufacturer is offering an outstanding outside sales opportunity for a driven and experienced sales professional who is ready to build a real, long-term career with one of the most respected names in the industry — right here in the Seattle market.

This is a dealer-focused role, which means the ideal candidate must bring established, active relationships within the Seattle dealer community to the table from day one. You know the dealers in this market, you understand how they work, and you have spent years building the kind of trust and credibility that makes you a valued and reliable partner to the people who matter most in this business.

But beyond the relationships, we are looking for something more. We are looking for someone who approaches their career with genuine passion and purpose — someone who is not simply looking for a paycheck at the end of the week, but who wants to invest in something bigger. Someone who wants to grow with a company, develop their skills, take on new challenges, and build a career that they are truly proud of for years to come.

Seattle is one of the most dynamic and opportunity-rich commercial furniture markets in the Pacific Northwest. The region's technology sector — anchored by some of the world's most recognized companies — continues to generate significant demand for high-performance workplace environments, with major corporate campuses, headquarters build-outs, and office renovations creating a steady and substantial pipeline of specification and procurement opportunities throughout the metro area.

Beyond technology, Seattle's life sciences, healthcare, financial services, and creative industries each contribute their own volume of commercial interior projects, making this a market that rewards salespeople who invest broadly in their relationships and stay consistently visible across multiple sectors. The region is also home to a sophisticated and growing architecture and design community that influences specification decisions at every level — from boutique residential studios to large-scale commercial firms managing projects across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

For a dealer-focused sales professional who understands the Seattle market and has the relationships to back it up, the opportunity here is substantial and growing. The commercial real estate pipeline remains active, the design community is engaged, and the right manufacturer's representative with the right dealer network can build an exceptionally strong and durable book of business in this territory.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing your dealer network across the Seattle market, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with your dealer partners to drive specifications, close projects, and deliver results that reflect well on both the brand and the relationships you have worked so hard to build. You will be the primary point of contact for your dealer accounts — providing product training, specification support, competitive intelligence, and the day-to-day partnership that keeps your dealers engaged, informed, and motivated to sell your line above the competition.

You will spend the majority of your time in the field — visiting dealer showrooms, conducting lunch-and-learn presentations, attending industry events, and calling on architecture and design firms alongside your dealer partners to drive product specifications into active projects. You will maintain a current and accurate pipeline, provide regular forecasts to sales leadership, and bring market intelligence back to the organization that helps inform product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions for the Pacific Northwest region.

You will have the full support of a world-class manufacturer behind you — the products, the resources, the marketing support, and the leadership team that gives you everything you need to succeed. This is not a role where you will be left to figure things out on your own. It is a role where your relationships and your drive will be matched by a company that is equally committed to your success.

You are a dealer-focused sales professional who has built your career in the Seattle commercial furniture market and knows this community from the inside. You have strong, active relationships with dealer principals and their sales teams, and you have a reputation for being reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to work with. You understand the commercial furniture sales cycle, you know how to get a product specified and keep it specified, and you have the discipline and organizational skills to manage a broad territory without losing sight of the details that matter.

You are self-directed and internally motivated. You set your own agenda, manage your own time, and hold yourself accountable to the results you have committed to delivering. You do not wait for opportunities to come to you — you go out and create them, consistently and persistently, because you understand that the best businesses are built through daily effort and long-term relationship investment.

If you are a relationship-driven, dealer-focused sales professional who is ready to plant your flag with a leading manufacturer in the Seattle market and build the kind of career that truly reflects your talent and your ambition, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for. All inquiries will be handled with complete discretion and confidentiality. Equal Opportunity Employer.
