Description

A leading commercial furniture manufacturer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow its Midwest business, with responsibility for driving revenue, strengthening dealer and A&D relationships, developing the sales team, and expanding market share across the region. This is a highly visible leadership role for a commercially minded sales professional who can balance strategic account development, team leadership, and hands-on market engagement.

The Midwest is one of the most important regions in the commercial furniture industry — home to major corporate headquarters, a deep and established dealer network, and a thriving A&D community that drives specifications across corporate, healthcare, education, and government sectors. Leading this territory means overseeing a complex, multi-market region where the ability to build trust with dealer principals, engage with A&D firms at a strategic level, and develop strong end-user relationships all contribute directly to the bottom line.

In this role, you will set the regional sales strategy, manage and coach a team of territory representatives, and take personal ownership of key accounts and high-value relationships across the Midwest. You will work closely with dealers to ensure your brand is being actively positioned and specified, collaborate with A&D firms to drive product awareness and preference, and identify emerging opportunities in growing markets throughout the region. You will also serve as the primary link between the field and the corporate team — providing market intelligence, competitive feedback, and strategic input that shapes how the company goes to market nationally.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of managing and growing a multi-state territory in the commercial furniture or interiors space, with demonstrated success in both dealer management and A&D engagement. You are a strong people leader who knows how to hire well, set clear expectations, and develop salespeople into top performers. You understand the dynamics of the dealer channel, you are comfortable presenting to design firms and end-user committees alike, and you have the business acumen to read a P&L, build a territory plan, and hold yourself and your team accountable to measurable results.

This is the kind of role that can define a career — a chance to put your stamp on a critical region for a manufacturer that values leadership, rewards performance, and gives its regional leaders the autonomy and support to run their business their way.

If you are a proven sales leader with deep roots in the Midwest commercial furniture market and the drive to take a territory to the next level, we want to hear from you.
