Description

An internationally recognized acoustic products manufacturer is seeking an exceptionally strong Director level manager to lead and grow their business across the New York and East Coast markets. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales leader who brings deep, long-standing relationships across the commercial design and architecture community, and who knows how to inspire, coach, and mentor a sales team to consistently achieve and exceed their goals.

As Director, you will be the driving force behind the brand's growth and market presence across one of the most important and competitive regions in the country, working across a broad range of commercial sectors to build the kind of sustainable, relationship-driven business that stands the test of time. You will oversee territory strategy, manage and develop a team of sales professionals, and take direct ownership of key accounts and high-value relationships that are critical to the brand's success on the East Coast.

The acoustic products category is one of the fastest-growing segments in the commercial interiors industry, driven by increasing demand for sound management solutions in open-plan offices, hospitality environments, healthcare facilities, education spaces, and mixed-use developments. Leading a team in this space means working at the intersection of design, performance, and innovation — representing products that solve real problems for architects and designers while enhancing the aesthetic quality of the spaces they create.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who leads by example — someone who understands that the success of a sales team is built on trust, accountability, and a genuine commitment to developing the talent around them. You know how to set clear goals, hold your team to high standards, and provide the coaching and mentorship that turns good salespeople into great ones. You are the kind of leader who rolls up their sleeves and works alongside your team in the field, not one who manages from behind a desk.

You are equally comfortable in the boardroom, the showroom, and the field, and you bring the kind of credibility and gravitas that comes from years of building real relationships with the architects, designers, dealers, and end-users who drive business in the commercial market. Your reputation precedes you — when you walk into a design firm or a dealer's office, people know who you are and they trust your word.

If you are a proven sales leader who is ready to bring your expertise, your network, and your passion for excellence to one of the most exciting brands in the acoustic products space, we want to hear from you.
